IN SUMMER AND AUTUMN, YOU CAN VISIT OUR KENNEL IN POHJASPERÄ
The starting point of the programs is Arctic Borealis Huskies Kennel, in Pohjasperä, on the border of Rovaniemi and Ranua. Map and driving directions
Please be there 15 minutes before the start of the program.

All summer and autumn programs are suitable for people of all ages, including young children. Please indicate the ages of all participating children when booking, including those under 4 years old.
​
Please note that programs are always organized with security first, so sometimes the format of the program needs to be changed.

Prices include Finnish and English speaking guide and VAT.
Self-guided cart ride, 1 cart / 2 adults + child

Kennel visit with a cart ride
2 hour program
The program, which is suitable for the whole family, starts with a 7-10 km cart ride, where you can drive the cart yourself after driving lessons. Those sitting on the cart can enjoy the ride while admiring the scenery or taking pictures. Halfway through, you can swap places between the driver and the adult passenger.
After the ride, you can get acquainted with the huskies' own free-running fence, where about 40 huskies will run around you! You can follow how they communicate with each other and you can pet the dogs. This is also a good time to talk with the guide and ask more about the lives of the huskies.
In the hut, the guide offers warm juices and little sweet snacks.
This activity is suitable for all ages.
Children under the age of 4 can participate for free, in the lap of a paying adult. When booking, please let us know the number and ages of children, including the children under the age of 4.

Come and see the sled dogs at Arctic Borealis Huskies kennel!
In the summer, the air is too hot to do sled rides, but the Huskies need exercise to maintain their basic condition, so they go to the free-running fence every day. You get to watch the fast-paced going and communication of the dogs up close in the free-running fence, and at the same time, you can give pets to the huskies.

You’ll hear about breeding and training the huskies, and you can ask everything you’ve wanted to know about huskies.
​
At the end of the tour, you will get hot drinks and small sweet snacks in the hut.
This visit is suitable for all ages, including children under the age of 4 to participate free of charge with a paying adult. Please also indicate the number and ages of children under the age of 4 when booking.
