ARCTIC BOREALIS HUSKIES

Arctic Borealis Huskies is a family-owned husky kennel in Ranua Pohjasperä.

The company was founded in 2006,

but the family has worked

with tourism for more than 20 years.

The family includes
the
 parents: Lionel and Milla,

as well as the children: Aarni and Lumi.

-and of course, all sled dogs living on the kennel, and also the domestic dogs living indoors ..!

Huskies are the way of life for the whole family,

and the children have spent time in the kennel even before they learn to walk.

The family spends a lot of time

together with the friendly huskies

also outside the work,

e.g. hiking and sled racing.

Welcome to the safari with us!

Alaskanhusky ja siperianhusky valmiina koirasafarille. Taustalla luminen Lappi

Alaskanhusky Suffeli s.2017

Sufferli on yksi Fazer-suklaapatukka-pentueen  veljeksistä. Iso ja vähän hösö, mutta vauhdikas kaveri. Kupissa ei ruoka kauan pysy kun se on jo kadonnut pikaruokaa rakastavan Suffelin kitusiin, veljensä Dumlen (slow food -kannattaja) vasta nauttiessa ensimmäisiä suupalojaan.

Valjakossa vahva pyöräpari Kodiakin kanssa.

Husky Nuppu s.2016

Nuppu on kiltimpi kahdesta siskoksesta. Tauoilla Nuppu pyörii keulassa kuin hyrrä, mutta pääsee juoksemaan asiakasvaljakon johtajanakin, koska reki liikkuu silloin mukavasti eteenpäin.

SLED DOGS

Huskies are very social and energetic,

working dogs who love running.

The Arctic Borealis Huskies kennel has about 90 sled dogs, most of the dogs are purebred Siberian huskies and a few of them are Alaskan huskies.

The Siberian Husky is a vertical-eared sled dog breed that works enthusiastically in harnesses, pulling light loads even over long distances.

The Alaskan Husky is not an official registered dog breed, but a durable sled dog bred from different breeds. Alaskan huskies come in different sizes and looks, from loose ears to vertical ears.
