Covid-19 related instructions

We do our best to make it safe for everyone to be on our safaris.

Activities are organized in small groups, and during safaris, each party has its own sled, making it easy to keep safety distances.

Generally, one safari is attended by 1 to 3 families at a time, or 6 adults, and a maximum of 14 adults can participate in the safari at the same time in the case of a larger group.

Activities are held outdoors and you can wear the face mask to your liking, but in cold weather, you should always cover your face during the safari.

You can borrow safari overalls at Gulo Gulo’s reception (Please let us know in advance if you need Winter Equipment), but we recommend bringing your own wool socks, scarves, gloves and headgear.

There are toilet facilities in the zoo’s ticket sales building where you can wash your hands before and after the safari.

We recommend everyone to use Koronavilkku.

Don't come to the safari if you feel sick!

Our cancellation policy also applies in cases related to Covid-19, ie you can cancel the safari 2 days before the safari, and we only charge a cancellation and office fee of 15 €. If canceled later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged. If you would like to transfer Safari in Covid-19 related cases, it will be possible without a cancellation fee, see our cancellation policy for more detailed instructions .
